Description
This tune is named for a street that straddles the Williamsburg and Greenpoint sections of Brooklyn. (Much like North Fourth, the genesis of this tune occurred while I was walking down a street in my neighborhood.) This tune was sung by the The Art Mob in their Spring, 2010 concerts.
Text
Before the rosy dawn of day,
To thee, my God, I'll sing;
Awake, my soft and tuneful lyre
Awake, each charming string.
And, as the gloomy night returns,
Or smiling day renews,
Thy constant goodness still my soul
With all thy grace pursues.
