Named for the Potomac River Sacred Harp Convention, where the tune was first sung at the PRC New Traditions Session in April, 2008. This tune was also sung by the Art Mob in their Spring, 2009 concerts.
Must friends and kindred droop and die,
And helpers be withdrawn,
While sorrow, with a weeping eye,
Counts all our comforts gone?
Be thou our Comfort, mighty God!
Our Helper and our Friend;
Nor leave us in this dang'rous road,
Till all our trials end.
